Graduation Sweepstakes

Official Rules

Effective: 04/14/2025

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. 

1. ELEGIBILITY: The Champs Chicken® Graduation Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes“), sponsored by Champs Chicken (the“Sponsor”) is open to any person at least eighteen (18) years of age and a legal resident of Columbia, Missouri, who is graduating in May 2025 from a high school, college, or university located within Columbia, MO. Entrants must be planning or hosting a graduation party in Columbia, MO during May or June 2025.

2. TIMING: Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 a.m. Central Standard Time (“CST”) on 04/14/2025 and ends at 11:59 p.m. CST on 5/4/2025. There will be one (1) winner selected by random drawing on 05/05/2025.

3. HOW TO ENTER: To enter, you must be following @ChampsChickenComo and complete one or more of the following actions on one of the official giveaway posts:

• Like the post
• Comment or tag your school’s name
• Tag your graduate in the comments (for family or friends of graduate)

Each action taken from the three options above will count as 1 entry. Each family member or friend that tags their graduate will count as an additional entry for that graduate.

4. SWEEPSTAKES DRAWING:

• One (1) winner will be selected by random drawing on 05/05/2025.
• Winner will be notified via direct message on the social media account used to enter within 24 hours of selection.
• If the winner does not respond within 5 days, an alternate winner may be selected.

5. PRIZE: One (1) winner will receive free catering for a graduation party serving up to 100 people. This includes Champs Chicken Tenders, Mac & Cheese, Tea and Lemonade. Prize includes delivery and standard setup within 20 miles of Columbia, MO.

6. PRIZE ACCEPTANCE: The Prize is not transferable by any means, including, without limitation, by sale, gift, seizure, or inheritance, and are not redeemable or exchangeable for cash or prize substitutions. No substitution or cash redemption is allowed.

7. PUBLICITY: Acceptance of any prize shall constitute and signify the winner’s agreement and consent that the Sponsor and its designees may use the winner’s name, biographical information, likeness, photos, together with any photographs, videos, and/or audio recordings made of the prize winner in connection with the Sweepstakes for promotional, advertising or other purposes, worldwide, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, including the Internet, without additional compensation and without limitation, notification, permission or other consideration, except where prohibited by law. 

8. RELEASE: By accepting any prize, each prize winner further agrees to release and hold harmless the Sponsor (“Champs Chicken”), Prize Administrator, and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising/promotion agencies, and each of their respective parent companies and each such company’s officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, loss or damage of any kind arising out of or in connection with the prize winner’s participation in the Sweepstakes, or with respect to awarding, receipt, possession, use and/or misuse of any prize.

9. GENERAL CONDITIONS:The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Sweepstakes if any fraud, technical failures, human error, any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, or any event or cause beyond Sponsor’s control (e.g. events such as natural calamities, national emergencies, wide spread illnesses) interferes with any aspect of the Sweepstakes, including but not limited to fulfillment of the prize(s), as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In addition, Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes, to be acting in violation of the Official Rules of this promotion or in a disruptive manner and will void all associated Sweepstakes Entries. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies (including attorneys’ fees) from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

10. DISPUTES:Except where prohibited by law, by entering this Sweepstakes, each participant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri (Central Division) or the appropriate Missouri state court located in Callaway County, Missouri; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (3) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Missouri without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Missouri or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Missouri. 

11. PRIVACY:Sponsor will collect personal information of each person submitting a Sweepstakes entry (“Personal Information”). Please see Sponsor’s website (https://champschicken.com/privacy/) for its Privacy Policy on use of Personal Information collected in connection with the Sweepstakes.
